Lisa Rein has a good post pointing at a Reuters story documenting just how bad the forged documents were that the US and UK handed over as "definitive proof".
They were so bad, one would have to wonder how the US and UK would have believed them enough to pass them along, unless of course it was in a fervent hope that the UN would accept them as real.
But, it's funny... other than the obvious forgeries, the US and UK won't claim to have any other evidence.. nor will they be forthcoming on where they came from.
It's almost as though they had some intern do the forgeries, didn't check his work, and are now scrambling for a plausible story to spin and (because it's completely whacked) haven't come up with one yet
