There's advantages to living and working out in the middle of nowhere. It's usually cheap to live, low crime, all sorts of benefits like that.

The downsides, though, are like today, for example. I'm starved, and have too much work to get done to go running around getting food. But nobody fucking delivers around here. No pizza places, no chinese food places, nothing. It's like a desolate wasteland for delivered meals.

Argh, this sucks.

Time to start the diet :) Or get a frozen pizza from the freezer and throw it into the oven.

when we lived in Putnam County I always counted on it taking at least a half hour to get to anyplace worth getting to.

Plaza Pizza does not go to you? they have 2 locations both deliver. try them.

how about China Gourmet? they are right on Ulster ave and should deliver to you I would think..

just trying to help when I lived on hunter I had a hell of a time finding places that would deliver to me at night..

Oh, at home, I've got plenty of options. The problem is my office is down in the Third Circle of Hell, I mean Goshen.

I know someone thats worked in Goshen for over 5 years. She can't think of any place off hand, but she'll let me know. I've heard that in one small town THE cab would do it for $5, if there were no riding business. No one place could afford a deliverer, but the cab worked several resturants.

Hey how about this? Either brown bag it or instead of eating half a pizza with George for dinner, you both eat 3 pieces and then you take the other two to work with you in the morning. Ditto for Chinese, Mexican, Latvian or whatever other fucking shit you eat.

Ugh, you're all missing the point. It's not that "oh, I have no idea how to bring food to work", it's that on the occasion when I didn't, I was fucking starved, and there were no options.

main street pizza delivers, they are in chester though. my brother used to work there and have to make deliveries to suresky so i know they deliver out there sometimes. if you tip him good, they wont mind.
